This error code indicates that drain times are longer than expected.
Is the drain hose kinked or clogged?
Make sure the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. Straighten the hose for adequate water flow. Remove any blockage from the drain hose, drainpipe or utility sink. Use the U-shaped drain hose form on the drain hose, and secure the drain hose. See the Installation Instructions for details; find them by entering your model number in the search tool below.
Are you using HE High Efficiency detergent?
Use only HE High Efficiency detergent. Using non-HE detergent, or more than the manufacturer’s recommended amount of detergent, can cause excessive suds. The excess suds will slow or stop the removal of water from the washer.
Concentrated detergents labeled 2x and higher will require a small amount of detergent based on load size. Always follow the manufacturer’s recommendations.
To remove the error display, press Pause/Cancel twice.
If Pause/Cancel does not work:
- Unplug the washer or disconnect the power for one minute.
- Plug in the washer or reconnect the power.
- Re-select the cycle and press Start.
NOTE: If the error remains on the display, and all of the other conditions above have been checked, call for service.
Dryer does not heat – Gas dryer
Did you select an Air Only cycle or Air Only temperature option?
The Air Only cycle or Air Only temperature does not add heat to the dryer. Expect loads dried with the Air Only cycle or Air Only temperature to take longer to dry. Air Only cycle or Air Only temperature can be found on the control knob or button with the other temperature selections.
Is the shutoff valve in the gas supply line open?
The drum of a gas dryer will turn, but the dryer will not heat, if the gas shutoff valve is closed. Open the gas shutoff valve in the supply line. The valve is open when the handle is parallel to the gas pipe. See the Installation Instructions for details.
